The FY22/23 Capital Improvement Program is comprised of 28 projects. Projects are funded from a variety of sources including the City's General Fund, Sewer Enterprise Fund, American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds and various other non-general fund sources.

The FY21/22 Capital Improvement Program is comprised of 15 projects. Projects are funded from a variety of sources including the City's General Fund, Sewer Enterprise Fund, and various other donation accounts.

At the May 6, 2020, City Council meeting, staff presented, and Council approved the FY20/21 CIP which included 20 projects: 5 projects to be funded from the General Fund and 15 projects funded from various non-general fund sources (Non-General Fund Projects).
On November 4, 2020, a budget adjustment was authorized to carry forward 8 projects from the FY19/20 CIP to the FY20/21 CIP (Ord. 20-025):
- 6 Non-General Fund projects
- 2 General Fund project
The FY20/21 CIP included a variety of projects ranging from vital city facility repairs, road rehabilitation and maintenance activities, and pedestrian/safety improvements to commencing and/or continuing construction of large-scale, multiyear projects.
Of the 28 projects:
- 14 were completed
- 4 were completed & carried forward
- This refers to a multiyear project where the specific FY20/21 scope of work was complete, and the remaining work was budgeted in the FY21/22 CIP
- 10 were carried forward to the FY21/22 CIP

At the May 1, 2019, City Council meeting, staff presented and Council approved the FY 2019/20 CIP which included 12 projects to be funded out of the General Fund and 23 projects that were to be funded using outside funds (Non-General Fund projects).
The CIP serves as a living document to drive the City’s larger maintenance and asset management needs; as a result, it may require amendments and updates throughout the year to reflect changes that arise during implementation. The following modifications were made throughout the year:
- Four (4) FY18/19 projects were carried forward to the FY19/20 CIP
- Two (2) additional projects were authorized
- Three (3) projects were deferred as a COVID-19 cost saving measure
The amended FY19/20 CIP included 43 projects: 17 General Fund and 26 Non-General fund projects. Of the 43 projects:
- 19 were complete
- 12 were completed and carried forward
- this applies to our multi-year projects where the specified FY19/20 scope of work was complete and the remaining work was budgeted in the FY20/21 CIP
- 9 were carried forward to the FY20/21 CIP
- 3 were deferred
